Amanda, from CuteNCurlyBowtique, will be sponsoring our sneak attack today at 12 noon Etsy time.
Why so early? Amanda has a family event later this afternoon and family is sooo important! In the mean time, Amanda will be sharing fun clues as to the 'maybe' identities of the 3 'victims' she has picked.
I recently asked Amanda how she came up with the name of her shop.
My shop name is in honor of my daughter's "Cute and Curly" hair.
And you should see the 'cute and curly' hair bows that she creates - they are just so adorable!
There are more patriotic bows in Amanda's shop - get ready for the 4th of July!
And come chat with us at our Sneak Attack thread as we get ready to meet and greet some new talent in the Etsy community.
Theresa from KraftyGrannysHome is sponsoring our sneak attack today, at 4pm Etsy time. A frequent sponsor, we can always count on Theresa introducing us to some really terrific new Etsy shops!
I recently asked Theresa to tell us a little bit about her family.
I have been married to the same man for 41 years, he is my best friend. We have
4 sons whom are all married to some of the greatest gals, between my sons they
have given me several wonderful grandchildren.
With such a large family, I know that Theresa uses her sewing talents to create gifts for them all!
And speaking of talent, take a look at a memory quilt that she just created.
There are lots of things to choose from in Theresa's shop - have fun browsing. And then come on over to our Sneak Attack thread and join the fun as we get ready to meet our 'victims' at 4pm.
Susanne, from SussesSpindehjrne, is sponsoring our sneak attack today. A member from Denmark - her time zone is a number of hours ahead of Etsy's time, so the attack will be starting early at 3pm! Not only does this help Susanne, but other international members as well as for most it's the middle of the night when we are attacking our 'victims'!
I recently asked Susanne if she had any pets.
I have a 12 year old dog named Gustav. He is a Bernese Mountain and have a
great undercoat, which is great for spinning. I also have two cats, Mis, who is
13 years old and Oliver at 7 years.
And speaking of spinning - Susanne recently spun some delicious looking yarn for me - and she has other roving - like the one below - that she would love to spin as well! (Susanne's shop name Spindehjørne is Danish for spinning room.)
Many of our team members are obsessed with fiber of all kinds, perhaps you are too. Then you will love Susanne's shop! After you have found your favorite fiber - come chat with us in our Sneak Attack thread as we get ready for an early meet and greet attack!
And be sure to enter our giveaway - the winner is picked tonite!
Lisa, otherwise known as Bead from Beadsoul, is sponsoring our sneak attack today at 7pm Etsy time.
Lisa is one of our frequent sponsors and I went back to when I first interviewed her for the 'meet the sponsor' blogs. It was two years ago!!
I asked Lisa what prompted her to join the sneak attack team.
I have to say that the sneak attack group saved me from closing shop
last summer (2009). Due to my many irons in the fire, I felt I should just
slowly fade away. I was just trolling the forums and found the SA
thread. It was the first time I saw so many people working together to
help others here. I felt a renewed enthusiasm to keep plugging away on
Etsy. I love the idea of such a fun, wonderful surprise for a new or
I went to Lisa's shop to check out her latest creation - rings! These are adorable and you can have them say whatever you want.
Be sure to see all the wonderful creations from Lisa's shop and then visit us in our Sneak Attack thread as we get ready to welcome 3 new Etsy shops tonite. Come join in the fun!
Our sneak attack today, at 5pm Etsy time, is being sponsored by Wendy from UUendysCraftyCorner. One of our members from the West Coast of the US, and a terrific sponsor, Wendy always introduces us to great new Etsy shops!
Besides being our 'Time Kitty' (helping us stay on time), Wendy works a full time job and still is able to create adorable jewelry for kids and adults! One of her new passions is her beaded bracelets. I've gotten several of them for my granddaughters and they just love them. Here's one of Wendy's latest in honor of flag day!
These bracelets can be made in a variety of colors - how about one to match each of your outfits!
While you are oohing and ahhing Wendy's bracelets, be sure to check out the other adorable jewelry she has. And then come and chat with us in our Sneak Attack thread for lots of fun, clues and surprises!
Heather from Hugs N Sprinkles is sponsoring our sneak attack today at 4pm Etsy time. Heather has sponsored a few times, and is terrific when it comes to picking 'victims'!
I recently asked Heather what prompted her to to join the Etsy community.
I've always been a "crafter." In high school, I started making gifts. Of
course, that didn't always go over very well. Even now, I make most of the gifts
I give. After years of hearing, "you need to be doing this for a living," or
"I'd love to be able to buy something like that," I finally decided to give it
my best shot.
Many of the 'creations' from Heather's shop are made from polymer clay. In addition to creatures, Heather is now making jewelry using the same medium. And isn't this pendant wonderful! Just perfect for the July 4th holiday!
There are lots of polymer items for you to choose from! And then come share some time with us in our Sneak Attack Thread as we get ready to meet Heather's 'victims'.
Our sponsor today is Sandi from SandisStashShop. Our attack starts at 5pm Etsy time!
Sandi is one of the co-leaders of the Handmade Movement/Sneak Team and has sponsored a number of times. She loves sponsoring as a way of giving back to the Etsy community!
Sandi has been retired from the 'real world' for 6 years. She worked for 20 years in the field of computer programming. While she misses the people that she worked with, she doesn't miss the daily commute.
Sandi's passion for computer programming has led her to creating websites and blogs and she loves to write. And she loves to create all kinds of handmade items as well.
But one of Sandi's favorite things is to help other people - so she offers a selection of fabric in a PIF listing in her stash shop. The customers only pay the listing fee and the shipping and receive lots of scraps that they then can use to make something for another person - their own way of paying it forward.
Be sure to check out the other terrific buys that Sandi has in her stash shop! And then come chat with us in our Sneak Attack thread as we get ready to surprise 3 new Etsy shops.
We are also having a give away and the drawing is tonite - be sure to enter!
Our sponsor today, WMS (Heather), from Winemaker's Sister is known for her fiber obsession. And of course she is not alone. Many of our members love fiber of any kind.
WMS always includes at least one fiber shop in her list of victims and you can be sure that all of her 'victims' will be terrific!
I've really enjoyed being a part of the Homemade Movement team for the
past few years. It's always a rush when you begin an attack and start
wondering when the seller will discover what has happened. And I've made
some fabulous friends along the way!
I always enjoy browsing through Heather's shop and her stitch markers are wonderful. This set that I found today is just gorgeous! And Heather can make either knitting or crocheting stitch markers! Just ask.
Be sure to order Heather's stitch markers for you and your friends! And then come chat with us in our sneak attack thread as we get ready to surprise Heather's victims at 3pm today.
