A Sneaky Day Treasury featuring Theresa and her "victims."
Even while on vacation, Lynn of LolaLynn manages to give us another lovely treasury!

Meet Theresa

Theresa, from KraftyGrannysHome,  is sponsoring our sneak attack today at 3pm Etsy time.

One of our frequent sponsors and Treasury creators, Theresa is always working hard to make things go smoothly and create wonderful items.

With all that hard work, I recently asked Theresa what she does to relax.

I like to play golf to work off any tension I might have, or go swimming in the pool.

Which ever she does to relax - it works. Just take a look at Theresa's latest creation:

You can see all of Theresa's art work by taking a peek at her shop. I'll bet you will find just the perfect item for your wall, your table, or for decorating. I did!

And then come join us at our Sneak Attack thread as we get ready to meet Theresa's victims for today.

Meet Kelly

Oh I am so excited - we have another brand new sponsor today - Kelly, from juBEADlation. Our sneak attack starts at 3pm - great for international shops as well as us US gals and guys!

I asked Kelly how she decided on a name for her Etsy shop:

My husband helped me with my shop name juBEADlation. I wanted to show the excitement I get from creating a new piece. so we combined jubilation with bead - my primary medium.

And you can tell Kelly has lots of excitement when she creates gorgeous necklace and earring sets like these. They practically pop out at you!

Kelly has lots of necklace and earring sets for you to choose from, or other terrific creations for friends and family members (remember those gift lists).

Once you have decided what you want from Kelly's shop - be sure to come join us in our Sneak Attack thread as we find out clues about our latest 'victims'.

Meet Lynn and Lisa

We have two sponsors today, in our sneak attack that starts at 4pm Etsy time. One of our sponsors is brand new - Lynn from lolalynn. Her co-sponsor is one of our 'veteran' members, Lisa from Beadsoul.

With two such great members - I know we will have some terrific 'victims' to meet!!

I asked Lynn how she came up with the name of her shop.

Its interesting you should ask about my how I got my Etsy name. Lola is not my name. Lynn is. When Matthew (oldest grandchild) was born the Filipino grandmas in my church started calling me Lola Lynn. "Lola" means grandma in the Filipino language and the other lolas affectionately included me in their circle even though I am not from the Philippines. When I opened my Etsy shop shortly thereafter I liked the alliteration and so LolaLynn became my shop name.

Lynn loves to paint cats and this is one of my favorites from her shop!

I asked Lisa how she decided on her shop name.

Says Lisa:

I thought of it based on 2 things.
1. I really feel that this craft spoke to my soul after all of the other things I had dabbled in.
2. I pour my heart and soul into each piece I make and the name is a reflection of that.

You can really tell that Lisa pours her heart and soul into her art! There is always something new and beautiful in her shop.

I hope you enjoy browsing through Lynn and Lisa's shops for just the perfect item! And come chat with us in our sneak attack thread as we get ready to meet the latest Etsy shops to be surprised!

Meet Virginia

Virginia from MadeByHand is sponsoring our Sneak Attack today at 4pm! A frequent sponsor and super Treasury maker, Virginia always finds terrific shops for us to meet. Her clues are wonderful as well, and makes creating treasuries of possible shops a lot of fun.

I love flea markets and craft shows. I hope you like the treasures and supplies that I've found for you.

And speaking of supplies, Virginia has added some timely one to her shop - these adorable Halloween ribbons. Get them while they are still available!

You will see lots of great crocheted items in Virginia's shop as that is her passion. Be sure to check with her, if you have any questions or want custom colors. She is always happy to help.

Then come join us at our Sneak Attack thread as we get ready for a day of fun and excitement!

And we have a drawing for a beautiful pair of earrings later today - if you haven't entered yet - do it here!

Sneak Attack Shops 8/13/2012

Theresa of KraftyGrannysHome has honored our
"Victims" and Sponsor with this wonderful treasury!

Lynn of LolaLynn has as well!

Meet Sandi

Sandi, from SandisStashShop, is a frequent sponsor, both from this shop and her handmade shop.

Sandi has always loved crafts - whether it's cross stitch, crocheting, sewing, you name it! Taking on way too many projects, one of Sandi's loves is to offer some of her, not started projects to Etsy buyers.

For example - this delightful cross stitch kit - that works up very nicely on a sweatshirt or t-shirt. If you love birdhouses as much as Sandi does, you will really enjoy doing this cross stitch project!

You will get lots of great buys at Sandi's stash shop - her excess is your find! And be sure to come chat with us, in our sneak attack thread, while Sandi gives a lot of clues as to who her 'victims' might be!

Lynn of LolaLynn has done it again! Another beautiful
"Victim"/Sponsor treasury!

Meet Andrea

We have a brand new sponsor today - YEAH - love new sponsors!!

Meet Andrea from CunninglyCrafted. She is sponsoring the sneak attack today that starts at 4pm.

Have you ever wondered how an Etsy shop owner decides on the name of her shop? Well, I asked that very question of Andrea and this is what she said:

When I had my first shop, I had it critiqued...and they told me I needed a better name...so, I asked my husband, and he came up with it! =)

Aw that's so great - glad Andrea's hubby came up with that name - it is perfect! And speaking of perfect, have you checked out the handmade cards and tags that Andrea has so cunningly crafted?? I just had to show you one that has already sold!!

Be sure to take a look at all the cute items in Andrea's shop. And then come chat with us in our Sneak Attack thread as we get ready to meet the latest 'victims' at 4pm.

Susanne is known for her gorgeous hand dyed roving and yarns, but did you know that Susanne also knits the most beautiful scarves and accessories? I was browsing her shop this morning and found this stunning knitted cowl - made of hand spun cashmere.

Meet Kylie and Sandi

We have a brand new sponsor today, Kylie from GoldenButterflyArt. And I have the honor of co-sponsoring with Kylie.  It's always fun to help new sponsors, and since I'm in the know - you will love the 'victims' that she has chosen :D

I asked Kylie why she decided to join the Sneak Attack team.

I saw a thread about them and thought it would be a great way to make a difference.

And you know, that is the feeling that all of our members have - wanting to make a difference, and helping a new budding artist with their Etsy shop - get a great start!

Kylie is just 17 years old, but by looking at her jewelry and paintings, you would never know it! This is one of her paintings, done on paper with india ink - traditional Japanese marbling technique known as "suminagashi" which means "ink floating.

Sandi from HandmadeBySandi, loves to make felted bowls. She hasn't always made felted bowls, but she has always crocheted something - you will always find some kind of yarn and crochet hook in her hands, while watching tv, or listening to music.

One of Sandi's newest creation is this set of cute little felted bowls that won't scratch your furniture and can be used for paperclips, bobby pins or little trinkets!

Whether  you are in to jewelry, paintings, or crochet - you are sure to find something just perfect for you at these shops!

Make your wish list now by picking your favorite items from these two shops, and then come on over to our sneak attack thread as we get ready to meet the 'victims' that Kylie has chosen!

And don't forget - we have a give away tonight - be sure to enter!
