Meet Ana and Bea

Ana from BellyPork and Bea from beacbarros are co-hosting our Sneak Attack today at 2pm Etsy time.

A relatively new member and host - Ana has brought Bea into our team and is now working with her to have a successful attack! And with her enthusiasm, I know Bea will do a great job.

Both of our hosts are from Spain, part of a growing list of Etsy friends that are across the pond.

I love browsing the shops from these two gals.

And knowing that I love cats - how could I resist showing you what I found.

In Ana's shop these delightful hair clips - my granddaughters love the ones that Ana makes.

And this illustration from Bea's shop - is just adorable.

Find your favorites in these shops - I bet you can't pick just one!

Be sure to come join us in our Sneak Attack thread - as we get ready to surprise today's 'victims'.

I love the idea of doing good things anonymously

As of course we all do :D

A gal after my own heart - Wendy creates earrings and I'm obsessed with them!! And just because Wendy's listing say play earrings - doesn't mean that adults can't wear them too!

Here is a pair of my favorite (for this week).

With so many to choose from - you will want several pair for yourself!!

Meet Amanda

Amanda from cutencurlybowtique is hosting our sneak attack today at 2pm.

It's been awhile since Amanda was our hostess. We are so glad to see her back - and can't wait to see who she has picked for us to surprise.

When Amanda first hosted a sneak attack a couple of years ago - I asked her why she joined our team.

I joined the Handmade Movement after reading someone's reaction to being a sneak attack victim in another team. Their genuine reaction of excitement and happiness made me want to be apart of that. I've always been the pay it forward type of person and this team is a great fit for me.

As I browsed in Amanda's shop this morning - I found this adorable flower on a headband.
It will make any little girl look like a princess!

I love all the little bows in Amanda's shop. They are perfect for all girls of any age. Be sure to pick your favorite!

And come join us in our sneak attack thread - find out who our 'victims' will be.

I always love seeing the items that Summer has in her paper shop. So many great things to use to help you in your own business.

My favorite -  these little tags - I write a note on the back and tie the tag to the item the customer has ordered - my way of saying thank you.

There are so many wonderful finds in Summer's shop - have fun browsing. And come join us in our sneak attack thread as we get ready to see who Summer has chosen for us to surprise today!

Blast from the Sneak Attacks Past June 18, 2014

The LazyDoll opened in May of 2009, it was Sneak Attacked with love from the Handmade Movement team in May of 2011 and received from sales from the Sneak Attack. Bo creates gorgeous coin purses, clutches, and iphone cases. Many are hand painted or embroidered. With some many beautiful items it's hard to pick a favorite, they are all so lovely.

I recently asked Bo how the Sneak Attack affected her shop, here's what she shared;

"The sneak attack gave me first few sales at the time when I almost gave up. This helped me a lot to regain confidence and encouraged me to make more creative handcrafts. I sell all my items online. Thanks! Best regards,Bo"

Wonderful, I'm happy to hear that. Today the LazyDoll has over 1,500 sales! Looks like everyone loves these gorgeous handmade items as much as I do. :) Seriously it's hard to share only a few, so head over to Bo's shop and click a few favorites of your own.

Until next time,
Amanda

From the sneak attack I had about two sales

What was your reaction to the sneak attack?
My reaction was how did this happen in one day with that many views.

Are you selling on other venues?
I was selling on another venues but right now it's just etsy.

Comments you would like us to pass on to the team?

Meet Susanne and Maria

Susanne from SussesSpindehjrne, and Maria from MsBittyKnacks, are co-hosting our sneak attack today at 4pm.

This team is all about team-work and helping each other. Susanne has a commitment for later today, and Maria has stepped in to contact our latest 'victims' as well as reveal who they are at 4pm. You go girls!!

Susanne loves to knit in her spare time - it's actually what she does to relax. And she's so good at it - just take a look at this beautiful scarf that is reversible.

Maria loves to browse through magazines to find new patterns and ideas. I know that she finds it very relaxing - as she sits on the couch with her dog and spends some down time from her busy day time job.

And if you have ever browsed Maria's shop - you will find one of a kind creations for all occasions. Don't you just love this one?

How about spending some relaxing time, browsing through these two shops!!

Meet Sandi

Sandi from HandmadeBySandi is hosting our sneak attack today at 3pm.

A member who loves to find new Etsy shops to surprise, Sandi enjoys the feeling of helping new shops to get a great start.

Sandi learned to crochet at an early age, and loves to make colorful items for the home. One of her creations is this felted bowl - great for any surface as it won't scratch, and lots of colors crocheted together. Ask any of our members - many of whom have these bowls - they are a treasure!

Which bowl will you choose as your favorite in Sandi's shop.

Come join us in our sneak attack thread as we try to guess who the 'victims' will be today.

Meet Theresa

Theresa from KraftyGrannysHome is hosting our sneak attack today at 2pm Etsy time.

A frequent sponsor and one of our Treasury gurus - Theresa loves to find the neatest shops to surprise!

In the past I asked Theresa what she likes to do to relax. And her answer was golf!

Well I have been playing golf for about 14 years now, and I got started so that my hubby and I would have something we could do together. I think my favorite thing about golf is how beautiful most golf courses are and the wild life you see out there. I have seen bears, moose, foxes, all kinds of birds and here in Arizona I have even seen snakes. My handicap is about a 17 or 18 better yet my average is about a 86.

I know absolutely nothing about golf as far as handicaps and averages - but Theresa is very happy with hers and I know she has lots of fun with it!

As always, I love to browse our hostess' shops to find new and exciting creations. One of Theresa's latest custom creations is this adorable reversible baby blanket. A lot of work and love went into it and we know the customer was delighted of course!

I'm just sad that I don't have any new babies coming!! That would be a wonderful gift to give. Be sure to check out all the fantastic creations that you can find in Theresa's shop. And then come join us in our sneak attack thread to see what kind of clues are provided to help us guess who the 'victims' will be!

Meet Virginia

Virginia from MadeByHand is hosting our sneak attack today at 3pm. One of our frequent sponsors and fabulous treasury maker, Virginia always finds the cutest shops for us to surprise.

Did you know that Virginia's shop was a 'victim' in October 2011? When she first got ready to host a sneak attack, I asked her if that was why she joined our team.

I was so thrilled to be a 'victim' that I wanted to pay it forward. I soon discovered how friendly and supportive the team is and that clinched it: I'm an enthusiastic member of the team and I love Sneak Attacks!

And Virginia makes hosting sneak attacks look so easy - you can do it too!!

I enjoy browsing through Virginia's shop. She always has some of the neatest patterns. I especially love these star shaped dish cloths/wash cloths. I gave them as gifts the last couple of years.

Check out the other creations in Virginia's shop. And then come join us in our Sneak Attack thread. See what kind of clues Virginia will give you. Will you guess who her 'victims' will be?

This time I had the pleasure of chatting with Linda from SimpleWishesCo. Linda creates lovely Holiday and note cards for all occasions. SimpleWishesCo was Sneak Attacked July 14, 2011 and received 5 sales.

This Robin on the fence note card is adorable and makes me think of Spring here in Michigan. I asked Linda how the Sneak Attack affect her shop, here's what she shared;

How did the sneak attack affect your shop?

It drove customers to my shop, resulting in a lot of views and several sales. It also made me feel more confident that the product I am selling, as well as my art, is desirable and valued.

What was your reaction to the sneak attack?

I was shocked and very happy to be promoted in such a way. I felt very honored to have been chosen!

Are you selling on other venues?

At the moment I am only on Etsy and working on private commissions. Since I began on Etsy, my sales have doubled each year. I am currently in the process of leaving my job to work on my business full time, to expand my product line and offer new products and styles.

Comments you would like us to pass on to the team?

Keep doing what you are doing! It is a wonderful gesture to make to new shops and helps to give a new seller a boost.

Thank you again!

Thank you Linda, it was wonderful hearing from you. If you know me, you know I love owls! This set is too cute for words! Get over to SimpleWishesCo to pick a few favorites of your own.

See you next time,
Amanda
