Maria from MsBittyKnacks is hosting our Halloween party/sneak attack today at 12 noon Etsy time. The queen of Halloween always has fun finding deserving new Etsy shops to surprise!
Maria's creativity goes way back:
I've always looked for ways to animate any mode of creativity, as far back as I can remember. My handmade items always portray the ideas, dreams and heart of the individual creator. And are also bright, playful and plain fun; meant to awaken the little girl or boy in all of us.
Isn't this a little cutie!
Be sure to check out all the 'spooky' creations in Maria's shop - you will love them!! And because Maria is so IN to Halloween - I also checked out her blog - some really creepy photos there of past costumes.
Come join us in our party today - lots of fun, meet some great members, and try to guess who the 'victims' will be.

Meet Theresa and Leda
Theresa from KraftyGrannysHome and Leda from TinyFeltHeart are co-hosting our sneak attack today at 2pm Etsy time. Theresa is a frequent hostess, Leda is brand new - this is her first! And of course Theresa loves to help new hostesses!
I always wonder how a new Etsy shop got it's name. And I asked Leda to tell us about her reason:
Tiny Felt Heart: My shop is full of felt items and most of them are really tiny, but I believe I chose this name to create a cozy and friendly atmosphere. 'Heart' is the real keyword of my Felt word, because everything is created from the heart. More than Handmade, it's HeartMade.
Since Halloween is almost here - I wanted to show you this delightful bookmark from Leda's shop.
I reached back into my files to find out Theresa's answer to the same question - shop name:
The name was tough I knew I like being crafty, so I went with a "K" instead of the "C" - Granny just because that is want I am, and Home because that is where the Heart is.
And what does Theresa have in her shop for Halloween? This adorable pumpkin!
You have two wonderful shops to browse - have fun!
And speaking of fun - come join us in our sneak attack thread - to meet our hostesses, check out the clues, and see if you can guess who our 'victims' will be today.

Meet Mark and Lynn
Mark, from xEsFunThings, and Lynn, from LynnHanousekDesigns, are co-hosting our sneak attack today at 11am. A great duo - both love the warm feeling that they get as they surprise new Etsy shops!
Mark's passion for beads is evident in his creations. Says Mark:
Always keeping my hands busy with a 'project'. A friend got me hooked on seed beads. Hey, if men knit why shouldn't they bead?
I love his creations that use both beads and charms like this one.

Lynn paints with her heart. And her love of cats shines. Combine those two, add a charity that she is supportive of, and you will want to help too. Says Lynn:
We are now donating $5.00 of the purchase price of many of our cat themed 5x7 acrylic paintings on canvas to Courageous Cats in Malverne, NY
This is one of my all-time favorites
Be sure to visit our co-hosts and find your favorite items.
Come join us in our sneak attack thread where you will get to meet our members and have lots of fun!

Meet Lynn and Amanda
Today we have co-hosts for our sneak attack that starts at 2:00 PM, Lynn from LynnHanousekDesigns and Amanda from CuteNCurlyBowtique
Lynn, who is one of our members from New York, makes the most beautiful cat paintings. I have several and love to give them to family members and friends.
When asked why she joined our team, Lynn said:
In May 2012, I was featured in a Sneak Attack treasury. I checked out "The Handmade Movement" website, liked what I found and decided to join. Helping and encouraging others fits into my basic life style values and I have found this team to be genuinely warm and supportive, not only to new shop owners, but to one another.
I have a hard time picking a favorite cat from Lynn's shop - how about this one!
Amanda, who is one of our members from Michigan, and has been making the cutest hair bows for a long time. And each one is a work of art!
When asked why she joined our team, Amanda said:
I joined the Handmade Movement after reading someone's reaction to being a sneak attack victim in another team. Their genuine reaction of excitement and happiness made me want to be apart of that. I've always been the pay it forward type of person and this team is a great fit for me.
Girls are football fans too! Check out this wonderful hair bow!
Be sure to browse through these shops - there is always something new!
